Today is the last day of March...and it's usually right on with the old saying-In like a Lion, out like a Lamb, but it is not the case this year....All that rain we got last week, imagine that as, Spring Surprise!! Snow!! About nine inches of snow. The wind is blowing about 40 mph, and snow is still falling...and besides the small, itty-bitty eastern corner of the state, which means my boyfriend still has class in Verm-town, Pierre School District decided to risk everybody's lives and send us to school. There is ice under the snow, and it hurts to walk outside. My boss and I both were really, really hoping for a snow day today, but the mall only closes if school is called off...soooo not happening for her ...or me...


I think there should be at least one snow day a year...in the last 9 years I've lived in Pierre, we've had two.
